The BridgePort Ale House, opened in January 1997, is located in the heart of the Historic Hawthorne District. We offer the full family of award winning ales available on draught or cask conditioned pulled from authentic firkins stored in the cellar. Our ales are produced true to the authentic British styles, which include our most popular India Pale Ale, the heritage Blue Heron Pale, rich Black Strap Stout , traditional ESB, a smooth Porter, and BridgePort's Original Old Knucklehead Barley Wine.
The BridgePort Ale House is "not your typical pub" featuring wonderful food and excellent beer that belong together. We offer fire-grilled sandwiches; fire roasted pizzas and entrees, signature salads, steak and fresh seafood, along with several specials daily. Our warm, friendly, and knowledgeable staff provides complete table service and can guide you through our beer menu. Extensive and creative Lunch and Happy Hour menus, offer many affordable selections designed to share, making daytime dining a real treat. Our décor is a modernized version of our original Brewpub, designed with rich cherry and pinewoods, private booths, and a large bar in the center of the dining room.
